Business Support
As a Chamber, we are always keen to look for new ways to serve the business community of the North Highlands and to maximise the benefits we bring to our members. A key part of how we achieve that is through taking on contracts and initiatives in addition to our core membership offering.
Through our contracts with the Caithness Business Fund and North Highland Regeneration Fund, as well as through our Business Support and Mentoring project, we help to advise and support businesses both new and existing across the region.
To see which of our business support options best suits your needs, see the brief descriptions below:
- Caithness Business Fund‘s mission is to promote the economic growth of Caithness and North Sutherland by supporting new or existing businesses and developing the skill base to meet new challenges. Funding of between £100 to £5,000 could be available should the criteria be met.
- Business Support and Mentoring is available for those considering setting up their own business (either full time or part time). This project is open to new businesses or those which are less than 6 months old.
- North Highland Regeneration Fund can offer loan support to small businesses and young companies who find it difficult to fund growth. The North Highland Regeneration Fund (NHRF) has been established by the Nuclear Decommisioning Authority to provide loan funding between £5,000 and £50,000 which complements other existing sources of funding.
If you’re still unsure, the links above will explain more but of course, you’re welcome to get in touch with any questions.
