Caithness Chamber of Commerce is looking to recruit a Senior Administrator to join the team.

About Caithness Chamber of Commerce

Caithness Chamber of Commerce is a membership organisation with 225+ members. The Chamber is an active business organisation with a proven track record of delivery and professionalism. Some of its activity includes but is not limited to: Delivering business services to members, organising and hosting events, seminars and workshops, lobbying and campaigning on key issues facing local businesses and the area, chairing stakeholder meetings / forums, delivery of commercial contracts, managing business and community benefit funds and an active involvement in the socio-economic development and promotion of the area.

Duties and responsibilities

The key aim of the post is to provide a professional and efficient administration/management service for the Chamber’s business and community benefit fund portfolio. The following key tasks will be undertaken to achieve this:

  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries
  • Work with applicants
  • Process applications
  • Manage applicant accounts
  • Facilitate, attend & minute meetings
  • Prepare financial records/ reports
  • Provision of general office support services
  • Filing and maintenance of records
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of effective administrative procedures and systems appropriate to the needs of the Chamber
  • Other duties as determined by the Chief Executive
