John O’Groats Development Trust
The aims of the Trust shall be to promote the John O’Groats area in terms of improving amenities and opportunities for the benefit of businesses, inhabitants and visitors.
The committee consists of a chair, secretary, treasurer, and 7 other denominated voting members. John O’Groats Development Trust also have 5 additional voting members who have 1 year terms to fulfil specialist expertise needs.
Having participating members from the community ensures the trust understands the views and needs required to create a sustainable, forward thinking, nurturing community that values everyone and their unique needs.
The trust is successful because the community contributes and are involved in making projects come to fruition.
