Japan is set to become one of Asia’s largest offshore wind markets as a steady pipeline of commercial projects begins to come online.
With one of the world’s most generous feed-in-tariffs for offshore wind, deep waters and market-leading marine engineering industry, Japan will become an especially important market for floating wind. With that in mind, Scottish Development International is very pleased to have brought onboard Yukiyo Miyakita, our new senior energy specialist based in Tokyo, to provide dedicated support for Scottish developers and supply chain companies looking to enter the Japanese market.
