Lochaber Chamber of Commerce is inviting applications from Scottish businesses to participate in their next Virtual Trade Mission to British Columbia between 1st to 4th March 2022.
British Columbia, Canada has one of North America’s most competitive, flexible, and supportive business climates making it an attractive location to start a business or expand existing operations. A stable, welcoming government has streamlined regulations and developed a competitive tax regime. Combined with a dependable legal system and top-ranked quality of life, British Columbia is an optimal location for business opportunities in North America.
What is involved?
As part of the trade mission delegates will receive market briefings on key opportunities in British Columbia, a virtual networking event with business organisations in British Columbia; and a minimum of two virtual one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners in British Columbia, based on your company requirements
British Columbia offers many opportunities for Scottish businesses in the following sectors and many more:

- Education Technology
- Manufacturing

Who can apply?
- Open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their International Trade activity in North America.
- Companies do not need to be a member of Chamber of Commerce.
- Cross sector delegation
- Non-refundable deposit of £100 required to secure each delegate place

Lochaber Chamber of Commerce are working in partnership with Inverness Chamber of Commerce and Scottish North American Business Council as part of a Scotland Canada business fortnight and this mission will follow on from Inverness Chamber’s mission to Ontario w/c 21 February 2022.
