About this event
The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) has launched a new competition: Catch the ChemBio Scent
This DASA competition, run on behalf of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), is seeking to to engage with a non-traditional ChemBio supplier base (i.e suppliers who have not worked in Defence and Security before) in order to yield innovative solutions.
The focus of this competition is on addressing the challenges associated with screening for, the preservation of sample / evidence, and the attribution of hazardous chemical and biological (ChemBio) materials. New technology options or technical approaches could ultimately help both the successful identification of material and directly / indirectly aid in bringing perpetrators to justice.
Join the competition team for an online webinar on Tuesday 16 November 2021 to hear about the competition scope and process followed by an open Q&A session.
1-to-1 Sessions
There will also be an opportunity to book a 1-to-1 on either Wednesday 17 or Thursday 18 November with the competition team to answer any specific technical queries you may have about the competition. You can register here for a 15 minute slot on 17 November and here for a 15 minute slot on 18 November.
Please note, these slots are booked on a first come, first serve basis. If demand is high, an alternative date may be added.
