Covering the North of Scotland and based in Inverness, Màiri supports start-up businesses to get their ideas off the ground, with practical day-to-day support around planning and growth as well as hosting events locally.

A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Màiri is a native Gaelic speaker and is passionate about helping the often economically fragile communities of the Highlands and Islands to achieve their full potential.

Mairi is also past president of Highland Business Women and has a keen interest in supporting female founders.

  • There will be a networking event to facilitate further connections between Scotland and Ontario
  • Each company will receive a minimum of two 1:1 B2B meetings with potential partners in Ontario based on your goals and ambitions
  • To participate in this mission, there will be a registration fee of £150 + VAT once applications have been approved
Criteria: 
  • Open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their international trade activity in Ontario
  • This is a cross-sector trade mission
  • Companies do not need to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce
  • Fee of £150 + VAT to participate in this mission (this fee is non-refundable should a company cancel after we start working to secure B2B connections)

This year is a very special 50th anniversary for Caithness Chamber of Commerce and therefore we intend to host a very special annual dinner! Every year we try to make the event unique, this year will be no different, in fact we aim for it to the best night so far. We have plans to take you back to 1974 when it all began!

This celebration will take place on Thursday 12th September at the Norseman Hotel, Wick.
