BBM is a boutique law practice with offices in Edinburgh and Wick, Caithness. BBM was founded in 2010 with the goal of “doing law better”. To make that goal a reality, BBM have focussed on building better relationships both externally and internally: with clients, competitors, courts, regulators and the BBM team.
As our choice of locations suggests, our aim is to marry the best of both worlds: the local knowledge and traditional relationship values of a progressive, local practice of solicitors with the dynamism and expertise of a national leader in our specialist areas of practice. BBM has grown organically since formation. A highly skilled, close knit team is now in place, making the firm well positioned to further its excellent reputation in the years to come.
Specialist areas include: Insolvency and Corporate Debt Recovery, Litigation (for individuals and business) and CorporateTransactional and Advisory work.

With key members of the team based in Caithness and the Highlands, BBM’s roots are just as strong in rural Scotland as they are in Edinburgh. In this sense we are a truly Scottish practice – equally at home in the farming communities of the Highlands as we are in Edinburgh’s Court of Session where we regularly act on behalf of individual clients, other law firms and corporate and private sector clients big and small.
