Strategic Objectives
- To actively engage with the Caithness Business Community to increase membership numbers.
- To secure the active involvement of the Caithness Business Community in the activities of the Chamber.
- To develop a package of business services consistent with the vision, mission and values of the Chamber to contribute to the financial independence of the Chamber.
- To establish effective partnerships with other organisations who have a key role to play in the development of a successful Caithness economy.
- To promote Caithness as a great place to do business to potential customers & inward investors. “Manage the message” both internally and externally.
- To develop support services for new start-ups to increase success rate.
- To encourage Members to do more business with each other and to work together to secure work from outside Caithness.
- To lobby relevant bodies on key business issues that affect the success of Members and the wider business community.
- To identify opportunities which capitalise on the skills and facilities in Caithness.
- To develop a database that captures the skills and facilities within Caithness.
